I agree though, the skanky outfits mixed with slutty dances hardly makes the game appropriate for kids. Especially when you have a pedophile sitting in Shing Jea Monastery or Great Temple of Balthazar doing questionable dances in questionable attire and having questionable conversations with what are clearly 11 year old kids.

You're right that anet really doesn't give a crap about those things, but at least maybe they're starting to?

However, I've always been wondering why the filter doesn't allow "steroids" but "steroid" is just fine (so now i'm "Noob On Steroid" instead of "Noob On Steroids").

yup, i had to change my pvp character's name.

It was on my monk and it was "Cobain Forgot Ps" <----prot spirit for those who don't get it

apparently someone takes thier suicidaly rockstars a bit to seriously

edit- I just logged on, and someone had reported my newest pvp toon necromancer "Died of Ebola"

somehow i didn't even get a ban, only had to change the name again. How was that name offensive?

A friend of mine was forced to change a name because it had "Castration" in it. Apparently there are eunuchs that play this game that find it highly offensive, even though the filter doesn't block the word out.

Personally when forming a party for a mission I avoid these characters. Most of them make the name knowing it will offend and I expect these characters will also cause problems on the mission. (Most of the time I've been right too)

The irony is "Sofa King Hott" is probably a better player than "Flamecaller Lia", or at the very least would help your party succeed the mission. But its a moot point unless your PvPing, as PvE is too easy as it is.

Yup I got banned, not sure which character it was from yet but I have a couple it could have been.... I Heart Wenis, I Would Hit A Girl, or Ima Blackchick. None of these are really bad and I was kind of mad I got banned, but I get to play tomorrow so I am happy.

My wife will not let me play a female toon as she thinks that is it "Porn-o-graphic" GEESH. All that swinging and lets dance in the water. or Naked Dance Party or come on.

It is SOOOOOOOOoooooooooo So bad in Pre-searing that I named my toon "I'm NOT your Mother". Want to private chat with me???. Or for 100 gold I will kneel at your feet and you can dance- the war dance on my head for 5 minutes. If that is not INSANE and Sexually Graphic from a 10 year old and there are 10 year olds on this game do not kid yourselves then I do not know what is.

So lets use the names that describe these actions. Opps better not.. you will get banned.

Check out Pre-Searing American District 1 to see what I am talking about. if you want oral sex depicted on your war while in your underware watching a mostly naked female toon's head go in and out of your shorts. man alive.

I have a character named Aithne (pronounced et nuh). It means "nut" in an old Celtic dialect. Nut is a euphemism for testicle. According to the EULA, testicles are bad (says so, I read it

). So, I can have someone report me for naming my toon "Testicle" and get a name change for the price of a temp-ban? hmmmmm....I'm in!!!

I can say happily that i got banned for my name before the /report feature. Telling me 1 of 2 things. Anet spy was playing and caught me (hoping it was gaille because i know she lol'd) or someone actualy took time to log off and go to website and report me manually.
